Young and Hungry for Success, Ricky $upreme is Rapping His Way to the Top

Kansas – 19-year-old artist and lover of all things music and art, Ricky $upreme has hit the ground running, ready to take his rap game to the next level. His journey with music began at the age of 17, when he was prompted by a friend (who happened to be a producer), and started toying with beats. From there, the artist began taking music more seriously, and eventually decided it was his calling in life. Influenced by classic rappers like Tupac, Biggie, and Kanye West, Ricky $upreme’s music’s vibe is mellow, and is what Ricky describes as “music you can listen to in the car.” He’s inspired by his family, the world around him, women in his life, and an unquenchable thirst for the truth. Ricky describes himself as “loyal to the cause.”

One of his most popular projects, a mixtape entitled “XTC” (a play-on-words for the drug, Ecstasy), is an indication of his hopes for his music. The artist is hardworking and determined to become on of the biggest names in rap, eager to get his feet wet and obtain recognition from his peers, and other artists he looks up to. His advice for other up and coming artists? “Be you, believe in what you're pursuing, work hard, have a passion for it and you'll go far.”
